Crashes during setup of new database

New install on Windows 10 64bit using "mmex-1.5.3-win64.exe". Crashes every time I try to "set currency"? I've searched this forum and couldn't find any matching topics either. My last update to windows itself was back in April, it was taking up to much of my limited internet data allocation and my time.

Yes a bug that crept in whilst fixing some other issues....
Will be fixed in the imminent 1.5.4 release

Thank you for quick response, is there an updated file I can copy into my installation directory for now? Or can I start out with a stable previous version?
I have a simple one man PC consulting business and exported 2-digit .QIF from my bank. I need to rough out a first quarter P&L statement that is mandatory to be completed by 6/2 11pm PST
