Transfer amounts >1000 impossible, get changed to 1.0 (MMEX 1.5.3)

In MMEX, 1.5.3 attempts to create transactions equal to or greater than 1000 become 1.0 in the New Transaction dialog!
e.g.
1000 >> 1.0
1500 >> 1.0
2000 >> 2.0
2150 >> 2.0
I think this only applies to Transfers.
I have now reverted to MMEX 1.5.1 which does not suffer this bug.
Please can someone here confirm /test this?
