It is difficult to clarify errors if you do not provide information about the configuration.
which operating system ?
Which MMEX version ?
where to print (local/network) ?
which print format ?
if I interpret the error message correctly, you want to print to a file / printer in the network and this is not supported.

Oo, ok, will do. Thx Renato for clarifying

MacOs
MMEX 1.5.4
Printing to local network printer
any print format because the error I received does not bring up the print dialog menu to allow me to print to anything or anywhere.

I wish to print to a printer on my network.

Why would I not be able to print a report? Everyone needs to be able to print reports for tax purposes.

Here is a unique response from another user as well that I thought you might find useful.

1. In MMEX, select all the text of the report you want to export (column headings and number rows).

2. CTRL+C to copy to clipboard

3. In Excel (or your preferred spreadsheet app), CTRL+V to paste.

4. It should be formatted OK but, if not, make any required adjustments.

5. 'Save As' and set the 'Save as type' to CSV.
I will try this as it is a strange way and may be the only want to print out reports... odd for sure for such a mature application

UPDATE:
I have tried this methodology and it works. Still, I find it odd to have to print reports this way from such a mature application.

Sorry, I don't know MacOs, but I'm sure there are Mac users here on the forum who can help.
Can't imagine that you can't print the reports, probably a bug in MMEX or the printer configuration.
Does it only not work since 1.5.4 or was it always like that.

What version of MacOs. The latest wxWidgets library has issues on older MacOS versions - see: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=10418

I've done another experiment and I cannot print reports in MacOS Mojave, either.

However, I can copy the report by highlighting the heading and rows, paste into Excel and voila, I can print from Excel.

Still, this is not what I expected to have to do to print a report

This may be useful for some Mac users.

I found the same problem when trying to print transaction reports from version 1.5+ running on High Sierra. However if I open in MMEX 1.3.5 I can print as before and nothing appears to be affected in the database. I do the work in 1.5 and print in 1.3.

Bear in mind that my use of the software is very basic (I hate doing my accounts so keep it minimal) so you may want to experiment on a duplicate database if your usage is complex.
