I have just set up a new account and the transactions are displaying as black fonts on a white background.
All of my other accounts are showing on alternate green and white lines - we used to call this "music paper" back in the day.
I cannot find where to set this for the new account, can anyone help me please?

the new versions have a theme manager under tools

It is more than a theme option, as I recall, it had to be set per account. It looks like the picture

I have been working with version: 1.5.6-Beta.1 64-bit - Build on Aug 14 2021 17:00:52,
there the lines are alternately colored.
I do not know of a setting option, certainly not on an account.

There is no concept of differing background per account. The "All Transactions" view can have a different pattern but all single account views have the same background.

I see you have shared a screenshot of the accounts with the 'correct' background. Can you please share the account (and account type) for the account that is giving problems.

Thanks both for your interest, as you can tell the difference is annoying me! I do recall having to change a setting when I set up a new account before, but cannot for the life of me remember what it was. The last time I set up a new account was probably 18 months ago so I do wonder if it is something that has been deprecated .
This is the new account view - it is a Credit Card type

The example you gave only has one transaction. Can you add another transaction and repeat the screenshot please.
