I've been using a very basic app previously to record transactions so Money Manager process is new to me.

I'd like to import some of my older transactions (either manually or try csv) so I have some history but I'm a little confused about reconciling the accounts afterward.

I think I figured it out but I want to make sure I don't mess up something later. If you are putting in older transactions do you lock the accounts to the current date so that the balance remains correct and then unlock after you are done?

You'll probably need to adjust the initial balance on the account after importing the old transactions.
