I have used MMEX for some years and whenever I entered a known payee the category was entered for me or I could type a few letters from a category (like 'gro' for Food:Groceries). This no longer works. Not only is the category never entered automatically for a known payee, but MMEX can no longer use a string to search unless it is the first few letters of the category. An example: I can no longer type 'gro' for groceries because the full category is 'Food:Groceries'.
I am currently using a Mac Mini M1 running macOS 12.5 and MMEX Version: 1.5.17
• Build on Jul 17 2022 18:37:45
• Database version: 7 • (aes128cbc)
• Git commit: 0dba2ea02 (2022-07-17)
I can't believe this behaviour is by design. Surely there's something I can do to restore the previous behaviour?

Try entering *gro
> Not only is the category never entered automatically for a known payee
This is a bug and fixed in the upcoming 1.5.18 release.

Thank you @whall3y! Using the asterisk work a treat. Now looking forward to version 1.5.18.
