Check # problem

When I attempt to edit a check number I get this: the check number plus .00 instead of the check number. How can I make sure the number is recorded correctly? Is there a special setting? There is a symbol to the right of the number box which says Populate Transaction #. What is it? Can it be altered?

Can you share a screenshot and point out where you are filling out the check number?

My query with the title "Edit Transaction Window - Number field does not accept characters" may be related to this. I am not sure how to link these two.

@frdan44 Please update to 1.5.20. This bug is fixed.
