Hi together,

just wondering if there is any possibility to simulate expenses/payments/income - like:

defining a monthly payment for the next 12 months of a specific amount to check if negative amount would be available at some time and after checking just switching off that simulated payment (same for income)

Under the "Reports" menu is a "Cash Flow" section and within that section is a "Transactions" report. Using the "Recurring Transaction" facility in conjunction with the aforementioned "Transactions" report will allow you to simulate what you desire. Input a "New Recurring Transaction" for the payment or income that you wish to simulate. Then run the aforementioned "Transactions" report for the relevant period that you interested in to see how payments or incomes you added affect the ongoing balance during this period. Afterwards you can delete (or make inactive) the recurring transaction you created for purposes of simulation.
