Account balance history report

Hi!

I was trying to get a history (monthly time series) of the account balance of a particular account. For some reason this does not seem to be available in the general standards reports. So I've tried out for the first time the General Report Manager and ran the two reports by importing
(a) 'Account-AccountBalances'
and
(b) 'Account-AccountTrend'

For the snapshot date 01apr2023, both, (a) and (b) given the same result Balance1 for my account XYZ I'm interested in. The confusing thing is that if I look on Home or into the account XYZ itself I get a different reported result Balance2.

How do I teach a report generator to obtain the same Balance?

This is probably because the GRM reports still need to be adjusted.

I use the v1.6.3. From your link i understand that still some parts need to be corrected on the GRM to then be ready with 1.6.4 or later.

Would you know if there is a way to pick an account XYZ and create a history (monthly snapshots) of the balances already with v1.6.3?

I have too little knowledge in SQL to create such GRM. (I have been retired for 25 years)
There were already changes made to the database in v1.6.3 that are not yet reflected in the current GRM. The programming capacities at MMEX are limited.
