I wish to restore a database version from a .bak file. When I take the option to open an existing database all the .bak file are greyed out. I am able to restore an .mmb file. However these are all outdated versions.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Rename the existing .mmb file.
And rename the desired .BAK to .mmb
will lead to success.
