Hi all an issue I have had now for ages and cannot seem to sort is when entering categories in the transaction box'

I long time ago when I clicked the Cat tab they all appeared in the box in a neat collapsed form with the little + on the left allowing you to open up the Cat you needed.

A few updates back that dissapeared and they only appear now in one long list meaning a fair bit of scrolling to find the actual one required.

If I access the Cat table from the desk top there are three options there and I have tried them all but although the table appears as it used to when I select collapse all it still remains one long list in the transaction box. I have searched through the help etc but nothing there was a help so the question is can I get the transaction box to display the Catergories in the collapsed form as it used to do xx updates back?

Presumably this function is required:
if you enter the first letter of the category you are looking for in the category input field when entering a new booking, the selection list jumps to the first category found.

Yes, they were working on it but for another version that is not 1.7.0, it had been talked about to implement it in this comment:

after a little bit of deep div, I believe it was caused by the underlying category changes introduced by mmex v1.6.2 (database schema v17)...

@Eddietheone With the category field empty, you can press the Enter (Return) key to open the tree view to choose a category rather than using the drop-down list. Perhaps that is the functionality you are looking for?

@pdelamotar I demoed that tree list combobox on a whim, so I need to go back and flesh it out properly for release. Not sure if it will be ready in time for 1.7.0, but it's coming.
