Hello,
First of all, I love your program and have been using it for years. Since the arrival of the Android https://github.com/moneymanagerex/andro ... x/releases version compatible with v1.7 I decided to upgrade.
The upgrade works fine on my android, but I cannot open the database on my Windows PCs (I've tried 2 different Win10) and have the exact same error.
I've tried the 32bit and 64bit portable versions. The upgrade of the DB seems to perform correctly, but when I try to open the upgraded DB it stops with in the XML debug file.
The DB can be opened with Android version. If I export the DB in the android I still have the same results.

I have also tried the 1.7.1 beta https://ci.appveyor.com/project/whalley ... /artifacts with the same results.

hi @svendickman , from android, did you run check db integrity and check db schema?

A little more information would help.
e.g. which operating system, from which MMEX version to 1.7.0
there was probably an error message before the debug report, a screenshot of this would be very helpful...

If you want, you can send the last still functioning databases to mmex-reg@bluewin.ch and I will try to solve the problem for you.
Of course I guarantee the confidentiality of the data.

Yes, I tried the latest beta Version yesterday as the below link. But the same result noticed
with the Debug report and crash the program.
There is no sheduled transaction or dupilcate catgory names in the database I checked with the running ver.6

Suggest you either take @Renato up on his offer, or mail a database that fails to support@moneymanagerex.org and we can look at the exact reason for the failure.
