Payee pattern matched, but transaction umported as Unknown

While importing the payee tab is displaying the matched payee correctly. Payee setup is

However, in the transaction register the payee appears as "Unknown" along with category "Unknown".

By keeping the match criteria on the payee's column, the issue got resolved. Not sure if that is the problem! Also, I upgraded to 7.1RC
