Hi I am trying to understand how the budget works.
for example I recieved income in Jan but when I create a monthly budget for month of Jan that income is not shown as being recieved and I do not understand why.

It would be helpful if you could tell us which version of MMEX you are using and under which operating system.

I noticed two things that might be affecting your transaction:

The budget category for this transaction is marked as "Income." Income categories track money coming in, not going out.
It's possible you might have chosen the wrong category in the ledger.

To help troubleshoot this better, could you share screenshots of:

• The budget setup for the category you used.
  The transaction itself in the ledger.
