[SOLVED] Synchronisation problems with Google Drive

I keep having problems with synchronising files with Google DRIVE when I try to enter transactions with my mobile phone.
Let me explain... I use both MMEX for desktop (PC) and for android.

Many times I am away for work, so I update transactions from my mobile phone (especially cash transactions as I can always update bank transactions by importing them). Despite the fact that after each entry I click ‘Synchronise’ when I get home and open MMEX for desktop I can't find the transactions.

The reverse also happens to me. I enter from the PC, close the programme, open the Adroid app after hours but I don't find the transactions entered (despite clicking synchronise several times).

What could be the problem?

I can't... I use google drive for work, and I can't risk losing progress on various files

This is not a dangerous operation

It is a normal feature to keep file on device and it is related to a single file

Just done but nothing has changed. In fact now when I open the app I get this message: ‘synchronising files in progress. Please wait.’ and it closes.

In addition, the notifications now tell me that: ‘Money manager frequently crashes. Activate advanced suspend to ensure that the smartphone is working properly'.

And, the drive notifications tell me that there was an error in making a file OFFLINE.

Even if we restore the file as it was originally (not available offline), the app practically still crashes on start-up as it fails to sync

You can try this clear app data and reopen file.

By the way witch version do you use? The one via Google play store?

I had to uninstall the app.
It works now. BUT I have the usual problem:
1. I make changes from the PC
2. I close the programme
3. I wait for google drive to synchronise the file
4 I open the Android app

Doing the reverse procedure (android app to pc) is the same.

The changes are not present. It's really frustrating...

I use the app from the Playstore (I joined the test). But even previously with F-Droid I had the same problem. If it works for others, there must be some setting on the phone I'm missing!

hi @frankieorabona , thanks for joining internal testing for MMEX4Android.

Regarding the sync issue for MMEX + Google Drive, can you additionally share the following screenshots
1. `三 -> Settings -> Database`
2. `三 -> Settings -> Synchronization`
3. your google drive client, the file list of your database file used in above.

For pc -> Android case, can you perform `三 -> Settings -> Synchronization -> Download` to verify whether force pull works?

I see what the problem is
On the desktop I have Google Drive which suddenly crashes... Obviously not being active in the background it doesn't synchronise files!
So I have to try to always monitor that google drive is active both before closing and before opening MMEX for PC .

Thanks for the support anyway!

hi @frankieorabona

can you share the Google Drive version information for both Android and Desktop? then others can refer to it.
