MMEX4iOS is available on App Store

Hi,

Installed on iPhone 15 Pro. .emb database in Dropbox but available locally (downloaded onto iPhone). The app opens but no data is shown. I have tried moving the database into The iPhone's Downloads folder. no change. Any ideas?

I have been looking forward to an iOS version of MMEX for many years. Glad it's here, can't wait to get using it.

Many thanks,

Andrew

hi @Andrew657,

Encrypted file (*.emb) is not supported yet, and we refine the file picker since v0.1.22. btw, what's your version?

Hi @guanlisheng,

Saving my .emb database as .mmb does the trick. Looking froward to .emb capability in a future release. What's the timeframe please? No hurry from me, I just prefer the security of having my fnances encrypted.

Great job so far and thanks for clarifying.

Andrew

We just upgraded desktop encryption to aes256 cipher and next step would be iOS. While it takes time and we have other fundamental features in backlog .

Can you share more thoughts and your priorities to us as well?

Hi. I am runnng a MacBook M3 (2024) with Sequoia 15.2. I have created a new .mmb database with a few accounts and a handful of transactions, on the MacBook. I have then saved it as a .emb database. Both open successsfully with MMEX 1.8.0.

I have installed TestPilot and used it to open MMEX V0.1.24 (Build 30) on my iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 18.2. I am able to open the .mmb database but the .emb database fails at the password entry screen. I am sure the password is correct (it is 'password').

Hi. V 1.8.01 is buggy to the point of being unusable:

I shall need to wait until the next release fixes these.
