Dear mmex team,
I am a new mmex user and trying to use mmex for family finance .

I'm planning to share the mmex database file with my wife through iCloud share, she'll use the iOS (iPhone) mmex app and I would like to use it via mac desktop app and iphone app.

The need of using the iphone application is to register our spent money in mmex, when spent as cash, as early as possible so that they are not forgotten.

When I tried to register a spending via the mmex application, when the mmex db was also opened from the desktop mac app, it managed to create the transfers but they were created with long negate number ID. This transfer I was not able to delete from the mac mmex desktop app.

Can you advise if/how it is possible to use mmex in such a scenario?

Thank you for creating mmex!

Happy Holidays!

Hi @atod

Combining MMEX for Desktop(Mac) and iOS would be a good choice, and the only thing is to use the latest desktop version (1.9.0.beta or newer) which starts to support large ID (INT64 for better-distributed transaction ID and database)

refer:
1. Planning of 1.9.0
2. Reopen the Database in MMEX4iOS to View the Latest Changes

Thank you very much for your prompt answers!

@guanlisheng Thank you for your comments and guidance on my scenario! Will try with 1.9.0.beta.
