I haven't used MMEX yet, but I'm looking for an alternative to YNAB on Dropbox. One thing that YNAB does well is sync individual transactions instantly between two clients over Dropbox. If someone adds a transaction on one PC, it usually shows up in the other client within a few seconds. On the back end, it seems like they are storing multiple files inside a Dropbox folder.

Since it looks like MMEX just has a single database file, will MMEX sync individual transactions on the fly or do you have to open/close the app to get updates made by another platform? If the dababase file becomes large like a gigabyte, does it have to sync the entire file every time something is changed?
