Migrating from Cashdroid using QIF files

Hi,
Due to issues with Cashdroid (Android App that is not available on more recent Android versions) i'm trying to use MMEX as a replacement.
I found a couple of issues that have been a problem.
1- The original QIF file has almost 16000 transactions.
2- When I import it into MMEX around 450-490 transactions fail. The 450-490 range is because when I repeat the import the number of failures changes. And sometimes transactions that worked no longer work.
3- Even when I try to export a QIF file from MMEX and import it again, same behaviour. The number of transactions imported varies.
4- Tried a shorter QIF file (just 475 transactions), same thing (9-12 failures).
So, some guidance needed:
1- Should I forget about my historic QIF and start anew ?
2- Report QIF import bug and wait for correction ? How long could it take ?
MMEX actually works for my needs, but would really like to get all my old transactions back.

Based on your information, I assume that you want to import the QIF into the desktop version.
It would certainly be helpful if you could mention the MMEX version you are using and your operating system.
You will probably find some information about QIF problems here:

Try the latest MMEX version, which will be released soon: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/whalley ... /artifacts

Hi,
Yes, Desktop. Ubuntu Flatpack Version 1.9.0 64 bit; Built on 20250501; Database Version 20
I've tried the import on a Windows 10 VM and got the same problem importing the QIF file.
I had already taken a look at the open issues in GitHub and found nothing.
I just took a look at the closed ones and #7414 and #7194, look like the situation I'm running into.
Looks like 1.9.1 solves it (hopefully :-) )
Will wait for it. Will report whe I get the 1.9.1.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Just tested the 1.9.1 in a Windows VM, and the import worked fine and with no errors.
Now I just need to wait for the flatpak to be updated.
Thanks for the help and for pointing me in the right direction.
Best Regards,
