Missing Account under Stock Portfolios

I've just realized that stock tracking has changed in Version 1.9.x, I am using 1.9.2 beta which has been stable for everything else but I just went to import some new stock buy and sell transactions from my custom made Excel CSV creator and everything broke down.

This really is a shame because I spent about 3 years getting my excel macro system to the point that it worked perfectly in Aug. 2025....now it is broken and I may have lost 3 years of progress.

Oh well... I am prepared to modify everything to make it work with the new V2 Stock tracking. I understand the Cash Ledger under each stock portfolio, that makes sense, I have had to make a separate "checking" account to act like the cash ledger and then transfer from the "checking" to the individual share account, then "buy" the shares in that share account which was very confusing, but over 3 years I made a system that worked.

So I don't fully understand how you intend Stock V2 to be used yet, my first question is this, I am missing 1 specific account under my stock portfolio, and I can't see anything that is different about this account.

Please see screenshot that shows the account exists when I'm looking at the portfolio, but on the left side menu it isn't there.

Thanks for responding @Renato

I figured it out, there must have been a special character in one of my account names, I fixed it by renaming everywhere I had a BMO account to BMOtemp, then I put the original name into notepad, then renamed it back from the characters in notepad. Eventually it showed up.

You can close this thread @Renato since I can't figure out how to close it.

Thanks
