I want to build a report that allows me to select from an individual account, an individual stock, its company name, total cost and current value.

I then want to show the dividends received for previous 6 months, previous 12 months, previous calendar year, previous 36 months and from outset, by selecting the sub category for the dividends for that stock.

I then want to show as a percent, total dividends received divided by cost of stock and total dividends received divided by stock value as a percent.

I then want to draw a chart showing dividends received over the selected time period.

I then want to be able to use this template to show dividends paid into the cash ledger for each stock. Presently there is no link between dividends being paid and the individual stock other than by naming a subcatagory representative of the company name for the stock. So I have a category called dividends and within that subcategories for each stock that pays dividends.

I used AI to generate a template (attached) but get error messages about tables not being valid and columns not existing. Can anyone assist please?

Since I posted the topic below I have managed to write the SQL template to show the link between stocks and dividends (see attached SQL test).
I have also tried to use a template created by AI to show the report and tried to use the same AI to correct the report display. When I did the latter the SQL script failed.
