Newbee migrating from quicken, importing csv

After creating a database I tried importing a csv file containing all my Quicken data. The only records that get imported to mmex are those that have a date after the date of the creation of the database. Each record that has a date preceding the creation date of the database produces an error message and the record is not imported. What mistake am I making?

The problem is that when accounts are opened automatically, the opening date is set; if there are entries prior to that date, they are ignored.

If you change these opening dates after the import and run the import again (with “Avoid duplicates” enabled), all entries should be imported, but there will be errors.

Here is some information about issues with importing Quicken data:

In my opinion, importing is not possible because Quicken generates import data that is not compliant.
I would recommend opening an MMEX accounting file, entering the accounts with their opening balances, and using the Quicken accounting file as a reference file for historical data.
