windows 11 - portable

downloaded 1.9.3 to update 1.1.0
.
copied content of zip into the 1.1.0 folder as instructed
.
open about dialog - shows version 1.1.0
.
any suggestions?

First, make a backup of your xxxx.mmb database.
I would unzip the new portable version 1.9.3.
In the bin directory, there is an mmex.exe file; launch it and right-click to pin it to the taskbar.
Select “Open existing Database” and open your xxxx.mmb file.
Now you need to update your master data.
However, I can’t guarantee that the database update from 1.1.0 to 1.9.3 will go smoothly—you’ve really waited quite a while to apply the updates.
