I just started having issues with automated stock market price refresh with the error:

URL using bad/illegal format or missing URL

Is Yahoo Finance using a different URL now or do I have to use a different finance stock web site?

I am using version 1.9.4 of MMEX.

I’ve just tested it and haven’t found any problems. My entry in the settings is: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/?p=%s
Can you access the website https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/ in your browser, or do you get an error message?

Unfortunately the URL that you suggested also did not work. I am using MMEX in the United States and I was able to access https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/ without any issue on my web browser.

I have been using MMEX for several years and seem to remember a similar issue with an older version that needed the database revised and eventually was fixed in a new version of MMEX.

Is it possible Yahoo only allows x amount of inquires a day/week/month?

Does anyone else have this issue?

I can’t see any other user reports mentioning this problem.
How long have you been experiencing this problem?
Have you checked the setting?

Ok, so I double checked the settings and it seems identical to what you suggested, but when I clicked on the link directly it sends me this error message on my browser:
https://finance.yahoo.com/?err=404

I have been experiencing this problem for about 3 days now.

I attached a screenshot of my settings.

Does anything seem off?

Also (sorry I couldn't figure out how to edit my previous post), I have tried older data files of MMEX and the same thing happens.

You can send me the .mmb file to info@mmex.ch and I’ll have a look at it.
Naturally, I guarantee complete confidentiality regarding your data.

I was able to update my securities using your .mmb file without any problems.

In my view, there must be a cause other than the Moneymanagerex programme.
Could a virus scanner be causing the issue, or is Yahoo blocking access from your country?

Which operating system are you using?

Why not try the latest Windows beta version: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/whalley/moneymanagerex

One thing to try is Tools / Database / Reset Web API Cookies
