Hi Nikolai

Just downloaded the latest portable version svn5355_x64. It crashes on start-up.
It will not pass the opening screen of the language choice.
I tried this on three diferent computers; two pc's and a laptop, all running win7 X64, with the same results.
On one occasion I could chose the database file but right after that the program crashed.
One thing i noticed is that there is a 100k mmex process running on the computer after the crash (and a new one process adds to the list on each attempt to run the program) that the windows process manager is unable to kill.

Hi Avi,

Thank you for the bug report.

Try to delete
msvcp120.dll
msvcr120.dll
from bin folder then download and install VCRedist_*.exe
for more details

MoneyManagerEx requires that the run-time components be installed. These components, if not already installed, can be installed by running the appropriate installer: vcredist_x86.exe for 32-bit and vcredist_x64.exe for 64-bit. These files can also be obtained directly from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=40784.

Hi Nikolay,

I downloaded and instaled the vcredist_x64.exe after deliting the two dll files fro the bin folder
but im still having the same problem, program crahes imidiatly after the initial screen (the chose database one)
the 100k mmex.exe process is still hangig out there and task manager still can't kill it...
Any other ideas?

Please check if mmexini.db3 zero size file is present in mmex_where_you_extract_it folder.
Or rename your DB file (.mmb) is currently used for stable mmex.

And try again. If nothing helps - just report and wait files update.

Nikolay had advised me to download the version 5349 and install the integrated vcredist_x64.
Subsequently, the 5355 version starts normally.
