Can't move window when title bar is off the top of screen

I work with two monitors and I am constantly running into an issue on my Mac where the application gets stuck "off screen" and I'm unable to re-locate it. The title bar ends up off screen or hidden underneath the mac menu bar with no way to re-access it. I waste a lot of time trying every trick I can think of to re-position the window again. I've managed to fix it once or twice before, but this time I've spent over half an hour trying to move it and nothing is working. Suggestions?
