Third party encryption and sync clients

Hello! I plan to use Money Manager EX (synced) on both my Android and Windows 8 devices, but I would like to have it not only synced but also encrypted. I've read @MysterY's answer here and completely agree with its reasons, so I went chasing cross-platform encrypted sync clients to give a try.
I have narrowed down to three free options (nCrypted Cloud [https://www.encryptedcloud.com/]; Cloudfogger [https://www.cloudfogger.com/en/]; BoxCryptor [https://www.boxcryptor.com/en/]). Has anyone tried any of these, either successfully or not?
Also, has anyone successfully used some other client (or other ways) of having encrypted cross-platform syncing of Money Manager EX's database?
Experiences using FolderSync, DropSync and similar apps on Android are also welcome, as they should help giving useful insight as to whether third party sync clients cause sync errors (and resulting database corruption), which is my main concern...
Cheers,
A.
