[Fixed] Current Revision / Check for updates

Well that whole changing where the current version number file is held, didn't quite work the way I expected.

So, it appears that wxURL doesn't do https. So, I'm looking for a fix.

So the html file I uploaded had some header and footer stuff in it. It has to be a plain jane txt file saved as an html file. I have uploaded a new fixed file. Just waiting for update to take effect.

Also changed the url to: http://softlayer.dl.sourceforge.net/pro ... rsion.html (Not committed yet)

May have some issues with that html as well, we'll see.

Okay, that URL works. I also changed the url's for updates so that the user is now sent to the SF page. The CodeLathe page is no longer maintained, which is understandable because Madhan is so busy (I'm not complaining). Just thought it would be better if the user were sent there.

Think I'll take a look at that sorting for the notes column for a while.

Any thought on making a Wiki?

I think a wiki is a good idea. It would be especially useful for build instructions, subversion instructions etc. I am pretty sure that sourceforge hosts wikis as part of their service, maybe we should look into that?

Hello Ellis, I would kindly request that CodeLathe site maintains User downloads for now. If you want to update MMEX packages, pages, we can work something out.
Thanks!

Sorry about that Madhan. I must have misunderstood a previous post where you had mentioned that a new project was taking up all of your bandwidth (perhaps you were speaking metaphorically). I was not attempting to highjack your baby.

No Problem. Yes, a new project is taking up all my time and I don't spend as much time on MMEX as I used to, but I still want to keep CodeLathe as the primary site for MMEX users.
