Backed up file downloaded and rejected

I back up my file to Knowhow Cloud. When I downloaded the saved file from the cloud to the PC and tried to open it I had a message that it was an encrypted file even though I entered the correct password. I assume I'm doing something wrong. Any advice would be welcome
