forgotton passcode

how can i access my app when it doesnt recognise my passcode?
Do you get this message when you try to open your existing database?
I have this problem, it appears to coincide with an android upgrade.
There is no option to set a passcode from the windows verrsion.
I have tried installing an older (2016) version of the android app, but have the same problem.
