I'm using Windows MMEX 1.4.0 and the latest Android app as well. For long time the database that run on PC could easily be opened on Android version (phone running Marshmallow).
Now that I changed to a new phone running Oreo (8.0.0) I'm not able to open the database anymore - the app is asking for a password that I never have set up.
How to fix that?

Even setting up completely new database does not work anymore.

Any ideas how to fix it?

I have the same problem. I have just started to use the Android app and i can't get it to sync with my Windows 10 desktop version, although it says the database versions are the same. I sync through OneDrive

i found it yesterday
you open on an other phone with android 6 or 5
and save the file again
and i could open on android 7.1.2 (for me)

Great, so that means I just have to buy one more phone for $100-200 to get it working on my android 8 phone. I'll think about it
