Android version does not recognise existing database

Last night inperformed a software upgrade to my samsung galaxy tab. Mmex was working before hand but afterwards would not open. I reinstalled mmex and it opens but now it does not recognise the existing mmb file. If i use my laptop it is still recognised, it seems to be a fault with the android version only.
