MMEx Crash during sync w/ Android 9

I recently moved from Android 6 to Android 9 due to new smartphone.
With Android 9 as soon as I have installed the app and tried to sync the database with the one on Dropbox, the app crashes and after this I am no more able to open the app.
Can you help me, please?
