Can't Create a New Database

Just installed MoneyManagerEX 1.1.3. on my Windows 10 PC. Took the first step to create a new database, but upon entering a name, I get "File not found. Check the filename and try again." Of course it won't be able to find the file until it is created--so what can I do to create a new database? (I'm brand new to trying out this software.)
