If I make changes to my database on my phone and then press "Sync", the file is uploaded to OneDrive and I can then view this most up-to-date file on my laptop.

HOWEVER...

If I make changes to my database in my computer, and then press "Sync", the app refuses to download and apply those changes into my phone.

App version: 2019.02.28.997-beta

I have the same experience in Dropbox with this new sync system.

Yes, same pb.
I found the solution : just download OnedriveSync from Google Play.
Choose the both directories (on the phone and on one drive).
And it works !
It is free for one directory
