I've been using MMEX for the last two years with no problems. No fancy stuff, just the basics of several simple accounts, importing csv and qif files from bank accounts. All fine.
Lately it's been running very slow, and hanging. The databases can't be very big (there are no attachments or scans embedded). Any ideas how to stop this?
It happens sometimes when assigning a category, sometimes when trying to scroll up/down. When it hangs, nothing works at all.
Running Windows 10, versions as below.
MMEX is using the following support products:
wxWidgets 3.1.0
SQLite3 3.14.1
wxSQLite3 3.4.0
Mongoose 6.5
Lua 5.2
Microsoft Visual Studio 1900

You might try to reorganize the database to see if that helps you. First save a backup of your current MMEX database from the File drop down menu. Next go to the Tools drop menu and go all the way to the bottom and select the Database option. From there you select the Database Optimize option and it will ask you if you made a backup of the database and then you respond "Yes" it will reorganize the MMEX database. Then see if you still have problems you reported are still there. This is just a shot in the dark but I hope it helps.
