I can find the step by step instructions for encrypting a database after scanning the help file and searching the internet.
MMEX for Windows 10 64 bit was installed.
What and where are the instructions for encrypting a MMEX database on Windows 10?

Select Menu File -> Save A...
In the dialog select the dropdown to pick "Encrypted MMB files (*.emb)" and give it the director and file name and select "Save"
Enter a password you will remember.
Once you are happy, delete the old non-encrypted *.mmb file.

Clarification, in new versions the extension may remain the same (.mmb), but the file will be encrypted.
I don't remember if this feature implemented in 1.3.4.
