Hidden categories show up in android app

I'm using the latest version of moneymanager ex on both windows and android. I noticed that the categories I've hidden on my laptop still show up on the android app. Is this supposed to be so? Or am I missing some option in the app?

I am sorry for that. I am not aware that there is an option to hide categories. Unfortunately this is not supported in the Android version.
Any pull request resolving this would be welcome.
