Date keeps resetting

For the last week, the date column keeps changing to newest to oldest instead of the customary old to new date list. I have clicked on the red sign above the date to make it the way I'm used to working, and although it will reset, it changes back every time I open or add a transaction. This is happens in all accounts. I am using version 1.3.3. I'm sure there is a setting I just can't find to fix this?
I would appreciate any help to get the date columns to remain where my current transaction and balance are at the bottom. Thank you.
