How to Trigger CSV Import?

Post by techsmmex »

Hello,

I'm a complete newbie and struggling to figure out how to actually execute a CSV import.
Apologies if this has already been answered, but my forum search turned up nothing and a general web search produced no results either.

When I choose "File>Import from>CSV File" I'm presented with a new window where I need to map various fields from my Credit Union CSV file to match MMEX fields. I did all that, also made sure date format matched and saved my settings as a preset.
However, I see nothing inside that window that says "Accept" or "Save" or "Apply".
So, I click "X" to close the window, go to import again, choose my CSV file and expect it to now actually get imported but am instead presented with the CSV import window again.

What am I missing???

P.S. In case it matters, I'm running Version 1.9.2 as a Flatpak on Kubuntu 25.10

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank You Renato!

After some further trial and error, I was able to "discover" the "Import" button depicted in your screenshot.
Even if I choose to "Maximize" that window, the button remains hidden from my view.
Not until I right click the title bar, select More Options and choose Fullscreen am I able to see the button.
(Another workaround seems to be to set my bottom panel to Autohide.)

So, looks like I'm going to have to troubleshoot what apparently is a "windowing" issue.
I'm wondering if it might be a peculiarity of Wayland (which Kubuntu has adopted as the default) or some feature/setting of KDE Plasma (I'm running Version 6.4.5)???

If you, or anyone else viewing this, has some Linux expertise and can suggest a more straightforward solution, I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks again for your prompt and helpful reply!

You're welcome.
You'll probably get a quicker answer in a Linux forum.
