Downgrade to V 1.9.1 Assistance

Hi

Some history: I drowned my laptop in tea so had to get a new one.

I downloaded the latest MMEX version and opened my exisiting mmb file to discover my data missing till way back (25 Aug 2024-showing in normal text with newer, unreconciled, scheduled only transactions in bold) when I had updated all my entries and reconciled to 9th April 2026.

I did some research and discovered I could downgrade to the previous version which I then proceeded to try and try and try everything I could think of with nothing resolving and my brain just getting befuddled (it does that a lot, unfortunately).

Im really hoping a more learned person will be able to raise their magic wand and help me sort the mess out. With that in mind I have attached screenshots of the files and their versions in some vague hope a miracle can be performed and get me back my data up till 9th April 2026.

I think what I've done is load the newest version of MMEX (v 1.9.2) on my laptop then used this to open my saved mmb file from an older version (I am lazy about updating) and this has corrupted my data as they are not compatible. I then uninstalled that MMEX and installed V 1.91 and tried opening my mmb file again - BUT by now it had been altered by me uploading it into the V 1.9.2 system. Then despite me trying everything I just cannot get any combination of the files/versions etc to get back to a working version rconciled up to 9th April 2026.

Hopefully this makes sense to someone and they can share their wisdom with me to make sense of the mess I have now made.

OOooo I've just remembered when I uninstalled the various versions more than once I did NOT delete the 287 *.dll files - I was to scared - BUT I wonder if this could be part of the problem - those files are reloading V 1.9.2 information and overwriting my V1.9.1 records everytime?

Sorry, your report is a bit confusing. I'm missing some information, such as which operating system you're using and what the last MMEX version was. Do you still have the latest .mmb file from your old laptop?
If so, could you send it and the latest .mmb file to info@mmex.ch? I'll take a look at it. Of course, I guarantee complete confidentiality of the data.
