macOS - often takes a long time to open

I have found with the last few versions of MMEX and macOS. I launch the app and its window doesn't appear for some 30 seconds. Am I the only one with this issue? The database is on my local filesystem. I am currently running macOS 26.5.2 and MMEX 1.9.2.

Any ideas as to why this is happening? It's not every time, but most times I open the app.

great if you can share your database physical size and transaction size scale. btw, would you confirm it is local filesystem or iCloud ?

I have noticed similar delays on macOS with recent versions as well. Have you tried starting MMEX with a new empty database to see if the delay still occurs? That could help determine whether the issue is related to the application startup process or a specific database file.
