Best Sync Method

What is the best syncing method, I primaily use MMEX on Android, but it is nice to use on the desktop now and then. Filen and Proton don't seem to allow for the SAF to work correctly.. I could spin up the webversion. It also looks like some folks use syncthing which is a pretty simple option. What is the simplest way to maintain a synced database across Fedora and Android? Or what has worked best for yourself? Thanks

I tried several times back and forth between Google Drive and Dropbox to sync between Mac, Linux Mint and Android. Sometimes it worked but most of the time it didn't.
Syncthing and Maestral (Dropbox client) are discontinued and Dropbox uses large amounts of memory on Mac and a lot of battery on Android.
For a few days now I've been using the following setup:
Rclone Mount on Mac and FolderSync on Android. So far it's working fine with almost zero memory and battery usage.
In short, with Rclone Mount I see my Dropbox as a drive on my desktop (without taking up any space on my drive), so any changes I make are made directly to Dropbox.
On Android I also created a folder e.g. Dropbox Sync. So with FolderSync I have done Folder Pairing between the Dropbox Sync folder and Dropbox. The synchronization is done in both directions (2 way sync).

Because Rclone Mount is done from the command line (Terminal) you can ask for help from AI. If you have even some familiarity with Terminal it is not a big deal. With less than 10 commands the setup was already done. There is also a daemon that mount the Dropbox virtual disk on each reboot.

Don't forget to Backup everything!!!

Note: since my Mac is Apple Silicon, there were errors when rClown Mount was installed through Homebrew (it has to installed from the Rclone Mount site) and Fuse-T was also needed.
I haven't put it in Linux Mint yet (I still have the official Dropbox app there).

As I said before, it works perfectly on Mac and Android so far.
