I have a suggestion to make the categories report more structurized (in my opinion though):
- Monthly report
In the monthly report, you have all separate subcategories listed one below the other in alphabetical order. Wouldn't it be more structured if it would be built up in the same way as the summary (expandable main category that shows more detail when you click on it).
Another suggestion I would have, is to structure the report by type: first all income categories followed by the sum of all income. Next all expenses with the sum of all expenses. And finally the general total (income - expenses).
In this way (both suggestions combined), you have a better general overview and if you want more detail, you can expand.
Also, immediately, you see exactly total income and total expenses without any extra effort. - Summary report
Here also, I would suggest grouping all income and expenses with everytime the total (same as suggested for the monthly report.
Like this, by just changing the order and adding the total income, total expenses and the general total, you have (in my opinion) a better overview with very few changes.
