Sync errors

I synchronize to Google Drive. I have synchronization set to daily and sync on start. I routinely force a sync after making changes in the Android app. And yet I regularly receive a notification that both the local and remote versions have changed. I resolve the conflict by opening the cloud file and then immediately force a sync. I rarely use the desktop app, but when I do I make a copy and use it instead of the main file - I like the cash flow it has, but otherwise do everything in the Android app.Android version 17, app version is 5.5.12.
