nYNAB vs Money Manager Ex
With the impending end of YNAB updating their non-cloud software in favor of the overpriced yearly subscription model, has anyone used Money Manager Ex? I really like the functionality in YNAB 4, but don't like being nickel and dimed by a service that doesn't need to be a subscription. I know I'll continue to have the ability to use YNAB 4 until it finally fails (who knows when that will be), but I'm starting to look for other options that are not subscription based.

Re: nYNAB vs Money Manager Ex
Hi! Take a look at the documentation, and you will see that MMEX is not YNAB, and of course even not to the excellent and fantastic chrome add-in called toolkit https://www.toolkitforynab.com/
There is not such a "wisdom" on MMEX.
There is not such a colourfull interface for your rules
There is not such a powerfull budget-oriented approach, but MMEX can budget on its way, of course.
MMEX is free, opensource, and live team of developers (I guess...) and has reports and exporting/importing features to jump in whatever you need.
Hope this helps... (this post is NOT ai-generated
