How do I get an older version for Linux?
Software Manager only shows latest version.
Trying on MMeX site also only gives link to latest version.
Is there any workaround to this?

Here are plenty of old versions underneath. See: https://moneymanagerex.org/docs/downloads/older/

But if the database .mmb / .emb has already been used with a new MMEX version, they no longer work with all old MMEX versions.

The description of compiling wxWidget (on their website) and the description for compiling mmex on Linux are quite easy.
From that you should be able to compile every version that you like.
But of course you need a corresponding development environment installed on your Linux machine.

Build description for Linux is here:

Always remember to make a backup of your database ( .mmb file).
