Hello all,
I scan creditcard receipts to keep an image of them, a requirement as a Canadian Tax Collector, In addition to creating images, I also save transaction details in a .csv file which I import in MMEX format, a process that seems to work well. Where I'm hung up is how to import data into a split category transaction? The header and sample record from my .csv looks like:
ID,Date,Status,Type,Account,Payee,Category,SubCategory,Amount,Currency,Number,Notes
2024-09-21,F,Withdrawal,CTTC (1234),PetSmart,Pet/Vet,Snoopy,22.32,CAD, Notes on the purchase if required
What I'd like to know is what extra field names are required to to add multiple categories/Sub-categories for instance, the 22.32 above is the total, I'd like to be able to import the product cost AND the tax amount as a split transaction, with separate category/SubCategory for the purchse and the tax. Some purchases may include multiple categories.
Any support, suggestions, work-arounds etc. would be appreciated.
Cheers,
DaleVa
