Hi
I have just imported a qif file from Homebank. It seems the information and transactions are OK but the balances are completely wrong even after filling in the original starting balances.
Can you help please?
Thanks.

Re: Wrong balances
Hi @blueb3ll ,
it's really hard to answer.
Before switching to MMEX, I tested several software packages: skrooge, kmymoney, homebank, grisbi.
Even if the qif format claims to be universal, I noticed that, depending on the software, you still have to prepare the export: date format, decimal point, etc.
I've also had problems with transfers. Or rather, how the transfers were recorded.
The best integration I've done, without too many corrections after integration, is a qif file from kmymoney.
Yesterday, I tested a qif file from Homebank again, and got discrepancies I couldn't explain.

Re: Wrong balances
Thank you for your reply.
I'm afraid I'm not knowledgeable enough and therefore don't know how to prepare the export.
I'm using Homebank on a Windows laptop but would like a multi platform app as I also have a Macbook.
I know there is a Homebank version for Mac but don't know how to install it, so guess I'm stuck for the moment.

Re: Wrong balances
I'm sorry but I still haven't managed and am now totally confused as the import facility was greyed out and I don't know how to fix it.
