I have used MMEX on multiple devices, all synched to the same database for many years. I enter transactions on whichever device I have with me.
Over recent months I have come across an issue which keeps repeating, I have changed from Dropbox to Onedrive in case Dropbox was the problem but it's not.
My Samsung S20 runs Android 13, my Lenovo M10 tablet runs Android 11, my laptop runs Windows 11.
Both android devices have the same settings, synchronise every 5 minutes, and Synchronise on app startup.
The problem I have been encountering, often when I open an android device, the one I have not been recently using it will attempt to synchronise but instead of confirming the database is upto date it will create a conflicted copy.
When this happens it is easy to get around, I check Onedrive for the correct file and open that but over time it creates a multitude of conflicted copies. Every week or so I go into Onedrive and delete all the conflicted copies, and I rename the current file using the current date to avoid confusion.
Any idea why this issue.
I remember a year or so ago as well as the option to Synch on Startup there was an option to Synch when closing, never had this problem then.

Re: Conflicted copy
hi @Bobb
may I know your app version for both Android and Desktop?
For v2025.02.14, it would produce a database version downgrade from v20 (desktop v1.9), resulting in some conflicts. @wolfsolver is on a new version release which would address the issue.

Re: Conflicted copy
I am sing version 2025.02.14 (1071) on my mobile phone with Android Version 13, same version 2025.02.14 (1071) on my tablet with Android 11.
My laptop is running 1.9.0 64 bit, the database has been updated and I have now optimised as suggested.

Re: Conflicted copy
Hello Wolfsolver,
Since upgrading to 5.1.1 about a week ago I have not had the problem. Thank you.
I read somewhere that MMEX now checks and downloads/uploads the database changes at the beginning and end of use, is this why it is behaving correctly?
